About Hannah

Hannah is currently enrolled at Discovery Middle School in Granger, IN. She loves being out in the hallways between classes greeting as many of the 800 students there as she can. Those wearing Discovery Archers shirts get broad smiles, but those wearing Notre Dame shirts might even get a high five! She loves going into the music classes at the end of the day, whether it be choir, band, or orchestra. Another favorite is the fitness class in the gym where they are currently enjoying DDR, Dance Dance Revolution. While the techno beat races on, Hannah and her peers give credence to the saying “Dance like nobody is watching!”

While Hannah does love being at school, her absolute favorite time of the day is dismissal! Having had a good day at Discovery, she is ready to head home, her favorite place in the world. There she lives with Mom, Dad, brother Charlie, three dogs, Julie, Rocky, and Barney, and also her best friend, Jo, who might just take her to Applebee’s, Hannah’s favorite eatery! At home, Hannah loves to listen to music, watch movies, swing, swim, or just cuddle up on the couch with her mom. Her favorite color is purple, which just happens to be the same color as her favorite dinosaur, Barney!

Hannah means grace of God. Her parents made the perfect choice in her name as she definitely shares grace with everyone she meets. Her courage to communicate with few words, to please others to the best of her ability, and to handle adversity in a world that doesn’t always show compassion is incredible. God blessed Charlie and Maura with Hannah, and they, in turn, have blessed the world in sharing her journey with us.
