Hannah and Friends has several volunteer opportunities for adults, college, high school and junior high students. We also have some opportunities to help out in the barn, around the grounds, and with our gardens.

Please note that if you are interested in volunteering in the barn, grounds or gardens, volunteer times are generally available from 9AM-4PM Monday-Friday only. Weekend opportunities are limited.

Volunteer Information

On your first visit you must sign a Volunteer Waiver and complete a Volunteer Info Sheet. For volunteers under the age of 18, a parent or guardian must sign the volunteer waiver. You can complete one at home and bring it with you, or a parent can sign it on your first visit. (Adult Waiver, Minor Waiver)

We ask that volunteers please be respectful of our participants. Volunteers are present to help participants make the most of programs. Therefore, we kindly ask that volunteers interact with the participants rather than socializing with other volunteers and using cell phones, texting, etc.

Please dress according to what is appropriate and comfortable for the volunteer activity. No short shorts, low-cut shirts, sagging pants, etc. Please ask Maura if you have any questions regarding what is appropriate dress.

For safety, please note that some volunteer opportunities have age restrictions.
