Cooking & Nutrition

This semester during cooking we will be trying new foods! Join us as we make fun and exciting meals while learning about nutrition. Each class, participants will learn about different cuisines from around the world focusing on a new country each class. We will make a popular dish to eat that reflects the country’s culture and resources. For the nutritional aspect, we will focus on healthy substitutes to our favorite meals. We are incorporating a fitness aspect to highlight the importance of health and nutrition by doing a dance or exercise from the country of focus.
